Pastor Dale Sanders

Pastor Dale Jay Sanders, Sr. is one of the young prophetic voices of our nation, hailing from the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.  At the age of 7, he began singing in the church choir, and at the age of 12, his preaching ministry began - all at his father’s church. Today, he leads two of the New Orleans area's most progressive congregations, the Fifth African Baptist Church and the Second New Guide Missionary Baptist Church is Metarie, Louisiana.  Pastor Sanders is a husband, father and proud graduate of Southern University at Orleans.

This nationally sought after evangelist, teacher and singer/ songwriter has also written his first book for young people titled, “Experiencing God in Your Youth.”  He is also the youngest of six born to the union of Rev. Leroy Sanders, Sr. and Mrs. Girlia Sanders. Pastor Sanders jokingly says, “I was straight from the delivery room to the church pew; I'm what you'd call a ‘pew baby.’ I cut my teeth on church fans, church fights, and of course everybody’s favorite, the church folks themselves.”

After watching firsthand, his father and pastor of 40 years go through a two-ear church court battle and subsequently making the choice to walk away from the church he built with his own hands, Pastor Dale Sanders said, “God gave me this song — “You Win.”   Though the words of the song are very personal, he realized he could not be selfish.  ”These words were meant for the masses.

The song conveys the sentiment that even in the face of overwhelming odds, winning is a matter of grace, God’s grace. Choose to win, and with Christ you will.

This Pastor’s faithful and unwavering service to the Kingdom is a direct reflection of his commitment to God.
